Synod 2010 dates

Synod 2010 was held from Friday 21 May to the afternoon of Wednesday 26 May, 2010. There were no meetings on the morning of Sunday 23 May. The opening worship service was held at 7pm on Friday 21 May 2010 at the Church of Christ Melbourne City Conference Centre on the corner of Swanston Street and Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. All other activities were held at Union Hall, La Trobe University, Bundoora.

A new pattern of Synod meetings

Following a decision made at the Synod meeting in September 2008, Synod will no longer meet annually, but rather every 18 months. Synod this year was held from Friday 21 to Wednesday 26 May 2010. The Synod meeting after that will be held from 16-21 September 2011, and in 2012 (the year of the next Assembly meeting) there will be no Synod meeting.
