Accounting Services

Accounting Services aim to be a professional, helpful and service orientated unit providing a range of reliable, accurate financial information to and on behalf of the Uniting Church in Australia Synod of Victoria and Tasmania.
 

In order to provide a service to other sections of the Synod, so that they can further the mission and ministry in the wider church we aim:

1. To help those responsible for managing sections of the Synod by the access to reliable information on which they may base decisions.

2. To ensure financial resources are used for the purposes designated by the Synod and other trust requirements.

3. To comply with applicable Accounting Standards, legislative regulations and Uniting Church in Australia policy or directives.

4. To provide information and advice on the current  and future use of resources for the Uniting Church in Australia.

5. To encourage a supportive and effective Accounting team in a friendly environment.
